Pastor Johnny Acevedo is a second-generation, Bronx-born Puerto Rican with fifteen years of experience as an inner city pastor and youth educator. In January 2008, Johnny and Melanie and a small core group of families began meeting in the Acevedo's apartment for weekly worship and vision development. Open Door Fellowship will be a community-focused congregation, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of East Harlem. Open Door will be a welcoming place for second and third generation Latinos and others who have not found a spiritual home in the many churches in the community. Please consider a gift!
