Lower Manhattan has a population of approximately 45,000, and that number is steadily increasing. Young, educated, affluent, urban professionals comprise the largest segment of the population. Sadly, less than one percent of them indicate they have experienced the renewing effect of the Gospel.

God called the Wolmas to New York City to plant a church for these urban professionals. Steve says, "We aspire to develop a Christian community for Lower Manhattan that brings personal and social renewal through a full understanding and experience of the Gospel."
