And yet, in the middle of the swirl of this increasingly crowded, progressive and intentional place, we at Crosstowne believe all people wrestle with the same questions; “Who am I? Why am I here? What does it mean?” Crosstowne's primary mission is to foster, live and celebrate among Miltonians a different motion, a grass-roots gospel movement to (TLC) Totally Love the City which will shape a church; a people exploring the movement's center in the good news of Jesus Christ. Milton is a town just west of Toronto, Ontario which is the biggest urban area in Canada. In the last decade this once sleepy town has exploded in population from around 35,000 to 100,000 people making it the fastest growing city in the country! Everything about Milton is in motion; from new and busier streets that feed into new and more densely built-up neighbourhoods which are filling up with new and more ethnically and religiously diverse neighbours who spend much of their time busily commuting from home to work.
