Guelph Campus Ministry is a bridging Christian community that is celebrating and participating in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. It seeks to establish connections between campus and the broader community, both within the city of Guelph and the global village.

This Christ-centred, student-driven community is a vibrant, incarnational presence. We worship together both in the evening and very early in the morning; we practice the art of hospitality with weekly dinners, community cooking nights and annual retreats; we’re growing in faith in our small groups and with our prayer partners; we’re engaged in campus life working with the Multi-Faith Team in collaborative events like Peace Week, and we participate in social justice initiatives both in neighbourhoods around Guelph and abroad in Western Kenya. We strive to be a community that recognizes the gifts of students and encourages them to shape the vision and spirit of Guelph Campus Ministry.

On Guelph’s campus, there's a vast array of research agendas heading off in competing directions; there’s a multitude of perspectives and worldviews; and there’s a colourful array of people. Together, we seek to bear witness to the renewing grace of Jesus Christ in a beautifully diverse, but complicated, world.

Guelph Campus Ministry is supported by two campus ministers, Jamie VanderBerg and Jenn McIntyre. Please consider a gift! This ministry is funded in part by Home Missions. You may give to this ministry directly by contacting the University of Guelph at javander@uoguelph.ca.
