Dear Friend of Campus Ministry,
Our Christian Reformed Campus Ministry Association is at an important point in its history. As you may know, the goals that the association set several years ago have been met. We have seen Campus Ministry become much better supported within the broader ministries of the Christian Reformed Church. An Educational Mission Leader position has been established giving us a greater voice within the denominational community. The denomination itself, through its media and by way of funding, has demonstrated its desire to be a faithful partner with us in advancing the Good News of Jesus Christ so that the Kingdom of God may grow and flourish in our very challenging campus environments.
You are invited to join the CRCMA (Christian Reformed Campus Ministers’ Association). Your membership has many benefits including: our annual meetings; special discounts at InterVarsity Press and Eerdmans; support from other campus ministers in the association; the new CRCMA journal, Academia Nuts; current addresses of ministries so you can contact others; special events sponsored by the Home Missions; at times, even special grants for creative projects; and many more. Perhaps you will agree that it is important to work towards a strong association that nurtures other ministry partnerships such as the one we have with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, that encourages worship and prayer, and that equips its members with practical skills and Christian perspectives on culture and society.
Please return a completed Membership Application form with the annual fee, for either a full or associate membership, to the American or Canadian address given on the form. If you are signing up as an associate member because you want to support campus ministry without being directly involved in campus ministry, we really appreciate your interest and support. Of course, if you are involved in Campus Ministry, you would want to be a full member. Your involvement in the association is most important and is highly valued. We are in prayer with you for the encouragement and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in all of your efforts to serve those who God has placed near you.
