Prayer Requests
If you know of other classical/regional prayer leaders who would like to join us for a time of prayer each month, please let Marideen (MarideenHoltrop@crcna.org) know.
Be in prayer this month for:
Prayer
- For a prayer coordinator in each classis; a designated prayer leader in every church
- That the role of prayer (and prayer leaders) may be enhanced in the local church—as well as in the classical, regional and denominational levels.
- For the transition taking place in prayer ministry at Home Missions as prayer mobilization is being transferred from the central office to the regions
- For the regions as they put together their team—that there will be a visible emphasis on prayer (currently only the U.S. West Coast has designated a prayer person for their team).
Planting
- Pray for increased awareness of fields that need to be harvested
- Pray for churches who are willing to serve as “parents” and help plant churches
- Pray for those church still under the age of five years—for their growth, for their health, and for their impact on their communities for Christ
Partners
- For classical leaders: classical interim leaders, classical ministry teams, classical youth teams, deacons conference leaders
- For the Classical Renewal Ministry Team—changes have and continue to occur on the committee
- Pray for a unified vision; pray for adequate funds, pray for fruit on the committees labors
- People: For Thea Leunk as she serves as the chair the CRMT.
Passion
- For pastors who are hurting, tired, burned out and thinking about leaving the ministry. Pray for their marriages and their families (children), and their spiritual connection with Jesus.
- For church leaders who are willing to step up – spend quantity time with God, model their walk with Jesus, and make the right decisions for the building of the church.
- For believers who are overworked, over-stressed, and over committed emotional, financially, and socially so they have little time for spiritual things: prayer, Scripture, worship, and service.
- For the large number of churches without a pastor…
- For church leaders as they plan for the Fall’s ministry…
- For a fresh and powerful move of the Holy Spirit across this continent, for revival.
- People: Your pastor; for Jerry Dykstra and our denominational leaders.
