Stated Clerks and Synodical Deputies Resources
The stated clerk of classis (regional groupings of CRC churches) functions between meetings by preparing the agendas and minutes of classis as well as maintaining the files of classis. They serve as the official correspondent for the classis.
The function of the synodical deputy is to represent the interests of synod in the life or actions of the classis. They are guided in their advice by the Church Order and the decisions of synod.
