Justice Spotlight: Definition of Marriage
Beginning in 2002 the CCG encouraged the Canadian government to uphold the heterosexual definition of marriage, and to address the legitimate legal/justice needs of people in other interdependent relationships (including same-sex unions).

Yet, Bill C-38—a bill to redefine "marriage"—was passed in the summer of 2005.
