The Christian Reformed Centre for Public Dialogue opened its new Ottawa office in July 2010. On November 4, the Centre hosted an opening celebration, giving thanks for God's faithfulness, and taking the time to explain our vision for Public Dialogue. This is an edited version of reflections given by Mike Hogeterp on that night.

In his opening reflections, Mike Hogeterp observes that engaging in public dialogue involves building relationships with policy-makers and legislators. Following are reflections from two Members of Parliament with whom the Centre for Public Dialogue has built valuable relationships as dialogue partners. Mr. John McKay and Mr. Rick Dykstra reflect on the role and importance of voices of faith in public dialogue.
