Curtis Korver |
Curtis Korver is a pastor at Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Calgary. He's on the CCG because the more he learns about the kingdom of God, the more he realizes that we're not supposed to wait around for it, we are invited to announce it in every place we can. He tries to announce it as a pastor, as a teacher in a leadership development network, as a CCG member and as a volunteer with his local community association. He's married to Jessica, with three children. They all love the Rockies nearby and spend as much time as possible there, hiking, biking, camping and skiing.

Grace Miedema |
Grace Miedema is presently chair of the CCG. In the mid 1980s a retired Roman Catholic gentleman representing the Right to Life movement knocked on her door, saying "Something needs to be done here." Grace responded with "Let's work together," and she has felt the call for justice in many areas of life since then. From trying to establish World Vison's Neighbour Link in small town Ontario, to participating in CRWRC's Free-a-Family, staying involved in a local church social justice committee, investing in the Mennonite Economic Development Agency, and serving on the board of "Operation Sharing"—the local ecumenical anti-poverty initiative—Grace continues to respond to the call with varying levels of success, but always in great company.
Beginning a ministry as chaplain encouraging community college students to step out in charity and justice work, and now serving people living with mental illness at Homestead Christian Care, Grace tries to integrate the faith, political, economical and social sides of life. The discovery is that her challenges and her joys are close together.
Grace is married to Rev. Dirk Miedema. They have graduated four children into higher education at Redeemer, Kings, and Calvin, and the Seminary; one of whom found a spouse from Dordt. Grace is a member at Marantha Christian Reformed Church in Woodstock, Ontario.

She is passionate about seeing her people rise to be the people God had created them to be.

I lift my voice I will be heard
I shout it loud to all the earth
Let the nations rise, let the people stand
And take their place throughout this land
From the north to the south to the east and the west
We can move in His righteousness
Let the drumbeat sound, let the gates fall down
His healing power among us now
And we will dance our dance (hya hya)
And we sing our songs (hya hya)
To the heartbeat of our Father
Hear the heartbeat of our Father Michelle attended Providence College and Seminary and the King's University College for her education. She currently works at the Edmonton Native Healing Centre coordinating youth programming and facilitates the Health for Two programs.
