Calvin Theological Seminary

Founded in 1876, Calvin Theological Seminary is our oldest denominational ministry. It was founded to supply trained ministers for Christian Reformed churches, which remains its central purpose. Today, however, it also trains people as evangelists, church planters, ministers of education, youth pastors, and other specialized ministries not requiring ordination.

Its seven graduate programs prepare people to teach or to give advanced leadership in our denomination and in churches, seminaries, colleges, and Bible schools around the world.

Calvin Seminary is widely known for its confessionally loyal, academically outstanding preparation of leaders who can open and apply God's Word to the issues of modern life.
