Since 1980 The Back to God Hour has broadcast radio programs, Vorzrashyeyeneye k Bogu (Back to God), into what was then the Soviet Union. At first, the programs were Russian translations of the English Back to God Hour radio messages. Today Rev. Sergei Sosedkin prepares and records messages that air on AM stations and also short-wave radio throughout Russia and Ukraine.

Rev. Sosedkin provides leadership for follow-up centers in St. Petersburg and Ukraine that handles correspondence with listeners and sends requested materials. When he is in Russia—approximately six months out of the year—he holds monthly seminars in St. Petersburg and occasional seminars in other Russian cities.

Sergei Sosedkin was born to atheist parents in the former Soviet Union. As a child, he heard about Christianity from his Christian grandmother, who secretly had him baptized as a baby. And it was in her home that he first heard Christian radio, including The Back to God Hour! He became a Christian, and began working in Christian radio in Quito, Ecuador. Eventually he received theological training at Reformed Bible College and Calvin Theological Seminary. Since 2002 he has directed the Russian ministry of The Back to God Hour.
