In October of 1958, The Back to God Hour began broadcasting in the Arabic language to the people of the Middle East. In 2000, The Back to God Hour began a cooperative venture with Words of Hope (Reformed Church of America) and Middle East Reformed Fellowship (MERF) to expand this ministry to the Islamic world.

Today, several different radio program formats air each week over Trans World Radio and other powerful stations, beaming the message throughout the Middle East and North Africa. In addition, an Internet ministry reaches others who may not be able to access the programs on the radio.

Ministry Partner: Rev. Victor Atallah
Rev. Victor Atallah was raised in the Middle East and received his theological training in Beirut, Lebanon. Today he serves as General Director of MERF, and directs the cooperative media ministry of MERF, The Back to God Hour and Words of Hope from his home base in Larnaca, Cyprus. Rev. Atallah travels extensively throughout the Middle East and North Africa, providing direction for follow-up centers throughout the area, and also directing a unique television ministry in Sudan.
