Don't Turn Away.Embrace those living with AIDS.
On World AIDS Day, December 1, 2007, CRWRC announces a significant two-year Embrace AIDS Campaign with a goal of raising three million dollars to help address the spread and suffering of AIDS.
"AIDS is a Goliath that confronts the world today," says CRWRC-Canada Director, Ida Mutoigo. "The horrendous impact of AIDS, especially on women and children in the developing world, is the single greatest opportunity for the global community to show the size of its heart and demonstrate how deep and how wide God's love is... If we don't love those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, we are nothing and gain nothing."
World AIDS Day, recognized annually on December 1st, is an independent campaign begun by the United Nations Joint Agency on HIV/AIDS in 1997. >>more
