June 13: Aboriginal Sunday 2014 - Canada has declared June 21st as National Aboriginal Day since 1996 as “a special day to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada.” The CRC celebrates Aboriginal Sunday this year on either June 15 or June 22.
